An efficient and high gain switched-capacitor based multi-level inverter

Abstract A new switching-capacitor-based boosting multilevel inverter is described in this paper. nine-level voltage waveform produced using 10 switches, one-diode, and two-capacitors. Each fundamental cycle contains numerous occurrences of capacitor voltages being linked parallel with the source voltage, resulting self-balancing voltages. Proposed topology has built polarity changing ability so no H-bridge required. This paper describes a simple pulse-width modulation system based on logic gates that maintains power balance among capacitors. For obtaining higher gain extended proposed also presented. The prototype’s experimental results are provided for verifying working capability by four times voltage. thorough comparison contemporary topologies demonstrates cost-effectiveness suggested topology, as well fact it simpler construction requires less space consumption resources.
